iFactor

iFactor is a Romanian fintech platform that provides an alternative digital financing marketplace connecting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with investors and financial institutions. The platform allows SMEs to obtain immediate cash on outstanding invoices (factoring) and enables investors — including banks, hedge funds, private equity funds and individuals — to bid on those receivables as short-term investment assets, offering potentially higher yields compared to traditional fixed-income products. iFactor’s hybrid model aims to democratise access to working capital for SMEs while broadening investment options in a transparent, digital environment.

iFactor also develops advanced modules (such as AI-based credit scoring, digital KYC and payment engines) and works closely with partners such as banks and data providers to streamline underwriting and risk assessment. Its platform was one of the first in Europe to receive regulatory clearance from the National Bank of Romania (BNR) to allow private investor participation in SME financing.
